Provo Bridal Fair Raffle Winner

So today I get to announce who won the raffle everyone entered at the Provo Bridal Fair. If you came by my booth, Jeanne and I gave you an opportunity to enter a raffle for a free Bridal Session. So we stirred up the jar really good and pulled a name. The lucky bride who was drawn is Vanessa Richins! Congratulations to Vanessa! Sara's Bridals

Sara chose Memory Grove for her bridals. It is a fun time of year to photograph there. I was in awe of Sara when I saw her in this amazing dress. I've been married over four years, but I still love seeing these beautiful dresses They seem to be more creative and elegant every year. Sara is a very happy person by nature, but I was very impressed by her more serious faces. Here are a few of Sara's bridal session......

A beautiful Portland wedding

So, in August I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of one of my best friends' baby sister. The last of 10 childred, Tammy has always been "the baby" to all of us, but on that beautful summer day in Portland, we all came to realize what an amazing grown woman she has become. This wedding was an adventure on top of it all. My husband(he knows the whole family as well) and I planned on flying to Portland, OR and flying home from Spokane, WA since the reception was in Ellensburg, WA. Long story short, we had to drive in the end. It was fun. A 15 hour road trip with my husband, that is the same way we started dating years ago. ha ha. So I always love hitting the road with him. So the wedding day went off without a hitch. Everyone made the 4 hour drive from the wedding in Portland to the reception in Ellensburg which is an accomplishment in and of itself! The reception was beautiful. They have a new ward building in Ellensburg now, and the family and ward did an amazing job decorating. It was lit so romantically. Fall Frenzy Photo Session!

One of the things I love most about living in Utah are the season changes. I can't imagine living somewhere where you don't get to experience the falling of the leaves, an enchanting snowfall on Christmas Day, rebirth of every flower, and the heat by the pool basking in an August sun. Living at the foot of Timpanogos I get excited when I see the colors turn a blaze. That means it is time to go see the canyon on fire with fall colors a few more times before the snow flies.
